(Furniture Repair) Mid-century modern teak dresser attacked by dog – yet lives!

168 vintage midcentury modern furniture repair restoration specialist Portland Oregon

A dog had chewed three of the four knobs off these otherwise mint-condition midcentury teak dresser drawers – owned by our friend and colleague Martin Cross of ERA.  Thank goodness one of the original knobs was spared, so there was a model to guide the re-making of the new knobs.   Buck is shown (see below) turning the new knobs on his lathe, two at a time.  Click the last picture in this series for an up-close look at all four knobs. Colored and oiled to match the rest of the dresser, who would know which are the new and which are the old?
